Ruben Irons is an artist blacksmith whose ironwork embraces an extensive functional craft tradition as well as sculptural expression. He has been evolving his craft for 25 years, working alongside master smiths throughout North America. He now lives and creates in the deep woods of Pictou Country, Nova Scotia with his partner and two daughters. Together they grow food, embark on adventures big and small, and laugh at how silly it all can be. He is a diehard recumbent bicycle rider.
